Interview 12

13 January 2014

Can you tell us five things about you that nobody would ever guess?

Very good cook. Terrible gardener. Watch way too much TV. Speak three different languages. Bad at Maths.

What do you think makes a book a page turner?

Characters. It’s all about them, and getting people to care about them.

Which genre of books appeals least to you? Why?

Educational books; it reminds me too much of school. I like to read for the fun of it, to get away from my life, discover new worlds…

On the average, how long does it take you to write a book.

I depends a lot on the free-time I have on my hands. Lately I haven’t been writing much because of my day-job getting in the way. I’d say anything between three to six months. And then twice as much for editing.
