-What inspired you to become a writer?
As far back as I can think of, I’ve always love to write. Whether it was school essays or poems for mum. I wrote fanfictions as a teenager, so writing novels was the natural progression.
-If you could visit your book’s world for a day, what one thing would you do?
I’d see the sights and then go to the beach. Providing there isn’t a monster on the run roaming the streets that day.
-It’s two in the morning. What does your protagonist reveal in confidence? (Don’t worry, we won’t tell.)
That some faults are so bad, it doesn’t matter how many good deeds you do afterward… your slate will never be clean again. And that he wishes his life could have taken a different turn.
-Which of your characters would you go out for drinks with?
Probably the hacker, Zian. He’s a funny guy, and he owns a club so he should know how to throw a party. Also he could teach me a thing or two about hacking.
-You’re in a tavern, and a dwarf challenges you to a duel. What do you do?
Ask the gentlemen around me if someone’s willing to lend me a sword.
-Is there a genre you could never write? Which and why?
Erotica. I have no interest in it.
