If you could have one paranormal ability, what would it be?

I’d love to be able to fly—that or teleportation. So I could travel the world real cheap, and go to sunny places when I get tired of the winter.

What is one thing your readers would be most surprised to learn about you?

English isn’t my first language. I was born in a French speaking country, and only started to learn English when I was thirteen. I fell in love with it; and that’s why I do all my writing in that language.

When writing descriptions of your hero/ine, what feature do you start with?

I often use height, hair color and then more specific features, like bright eyes or a charming smile.

Are you a plotter or a pantser?

Plotter, definitely. I outline everything, and don’t start writing until I have everything figured out. It’s really important to me.

Did you learn anything from writing this book? If so, what?

I’m a big fan of mythology and enjoy reading about it; it’s a bit of a hobby of mine. This book draws a lot from the Middle Eastern mythology. So I had to look that up; it was fun to do.
